About Biblical Interpretation Class - Grasping God's Word
So you are sitting in a bible study and someone says, "this is what I think this verse means?" Another joins in and says, "Yeah, I think it means this to me." You find yourself thinking that it means something completely different but not sure what to say.
Is there one meaning to the biblical text? Or can it have many different meanings? Who determines which meaning is right?
I hope you will join me this spring as we talk about how to interpret God's Word faithfully. We'll learn a process that will help us to navigate the biblical text and in the process learn to love the God who wrote the Scripture even more deeply.
This class will begin on Tuesday, January 27 and end on Tuesday, March 17. It will be taught by Pastor Noah Reid.
